A sewage smell in your yard, indoors, or around a floor drain often means raw waste is escaping a cracked or broken line. A healthy sewer system is sealed and should not smell, so a persistent odor is a clear warning sign, and a sewer camera inspection finds the source.
Soggy or Sunken Spots in the Yard
Soggy spots in the yard, a patch of grass that is greener and lusher than the rest, or ground that has started to sink can all mean a sewer line is leaking underground and feeding the soil above it.

From there, the repair depends on the line. A break in one spot may only need a targeted dig and a new section of pipe. Sewer repair vs replacement, which do I need?
If the damage is in one spot and the rest of the line is sound, a repair is usually the better value. If the pipe is old, root-filled, or failing in several places, replacement costs less over time than repeated repairs. The camera inspection tells us which makes sense for your line.
Can you help with a sewer line insurance claim?
We can provide the camera footage, photos, and a written description of the damage and repair to support a sewer line insurance claim. Coverage varies by policy, and many exclude gradual wear or root damage, so check with your insurer, but we will give you the documentation you need.
